The Philips Series 1000 Electric Shaver comes in 2 different versions both for the same price. There is model #S1520/04 (bottom-left) and model #S1232/41 (bottom-right).

There is no internal difference but as you can see from the pictures above, the S1520/04 model is slightly shorter in height and has its power button integrated near the handle and an LED light just below it. Also to note, the S1520/04 has a slight grey accenting. On the other hand, the S1232/41 model is taller and has an ergonomic comfortable handle, with the power button below it and an LED strip surrounding it. The LED lights on both models indicate the the battery status and do not change colour, they just flash. Both models ONLY come in black and there is no other colour options. Do also take in consideration that both models should not be operated with their cords plugged in. However, the bottom-line if possible, choose the S1232/41 model.
